I suppose one the benefits of having a husband that lives and breathes bicycles, is that he is always willing to travel for a great coffee.
He has been pestering me to visit one of his early morning hangouts (he has a few depending on where he cycled too that day) in Hawthorn.
Boy I was so not disappointed - Liar Liar Cafe (or "Kinkora" to cult followers) had that perfect blend of modern but comfy interior, friendly welcoming staff, trendy music and TOO DIE FOR coffee. It just so happened that our little visit coincided with a massive street festival with rides, farm animals and Banana's in Pajamas so Louise was equally as pleased.

Sounds like fun.I bet she loved the whole bananas in pyjamas thing. We freed my brothers ashes on the weekend... but we then went for coffee opposite the river. The setting was so magic, the view amazing, BUT the coffee ..not so famous!!! pretty rotten in fact....The mum had brought her kids in to help mum take orders and make the coffee, it was so bad!!I did not drink it....Note to mum, leave dishes for kids, you make the coffee.lol Margo xx
