JANUARY: Photo a day...

I've decided to take part in Fat Mum Slim's Photo a day challenge over on instagram. Amazingly there are hundreds of partcipants over 30,000 photos already (and thats just on instagram). My aim is to do a photo update every Saturday here for those not playing on Istagram.

Point + Shoot : 27

Friday 3rd Sept 4.30pm

So the hubby pulled a sicky and we spent a full 24hrs away just the too of us. We drove all of 25mins to get to our destination but boy it was so much. Its been ages since I spent some decent time in the city with my favourite friend and was so great to just walk around and soak it all up. 
Our hotel was smack bang in the middle of town which was nice and handy as we wanted to fit as much as we could while we were child free.

Here are few of my other favourite snaps..

I forgot how wonderful Melbourne's lanes and street art was.

We spent a little time shopping of course although got a little distracted by these teenages on a stage solving the Rubiks cube in under 20 seconds

(a little dorky but so fascinating at the same time)

On the way home we stopped for a quick game of Bowling .....

I kicked his butt :)

Sunday 9th May 11ish

My two favourite people, some hot coffee, fresh flowers from the market, a new picture for the lounge room and some new mags to read 

- seems like a pretty perfect morning to me.

The loveliness continued as the family (minus the honeymooners - who BTW are leaving Vegas to drive to L.A as I type) took mum out for dinner which is always lots of fun.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone else did for Mothers Day here -

Melbourne was so kind to us again this weekend by providing 

another two glorious days of weather. 

So while I a had a list of chores a mile long we opted to spend

it outdoors instead doing lots of fun things.

For Point + Shoot this time round I chose to show you some (couldn't pick just one) snaps of our Sunday Morning bike ride 

- surprisingly something I love to do. 

We ride through the suburbs we dream of living in, visit our favourite coffee shop then always head to the beach.
