Sunday Afternoon 4.30pm

With all the baking, cooking and cleaning I did this weekend, hopefully means that this baby may be arriving sooner than later.... that would be just lovely!!

I'm so ready to meet this little miss ~ although technically I haven't even packed yet so better get moving and perhaps I should enjoy some lovely full nights of 

sleep for a little bit longer too.

We also managed to celebrate a friends 30th Saturday and sneak in a pub lunch with some fab friends on Sunday, finishing off a fine weekend..... how about you??

Sunday 19th Dec 4.30pm

Every year we have a special afternoon tea with some lovely family friends ~ its so nice that our little girls can now enjoy it too. I set up their very own "high tea" table so they could be just like the adults...so cute!!

If you also look closely you can see a sneak peak of Lou's new Big girl room that I have been working hard on - once I get the correct mattress re-delivered (one that actually fits her new bedroom setting) Grrr... I can do a proper tour for you. Its turned out quite pretty

... if you like pink.

I also heard a rumor that a family of fairies are about to move in as well.

Sunday 28th Nov 10.30am

Argh!.. it rained the weekend away here in Melbourne - can't summer start already!! Although being almost six month pregnant now I'm sure I will eat those words come January. We braved the rain (and crowds and screaming children and equally grumpy parents) Sunday morning and headed to the Myer Christmas windows in the city. Louise loved them so I suppose that's what matters really. We then headed down to the Myer Santaland to check out the big man himself only to find he was hidden away in some Santa cave with a charge of $27 dollars and at least an hour waiting in line. 

Needless to say Santa was having an "early lunch" when Lou asked where he was. 

We treated ourselves to Chocolate croissants and yummy lattes at our favourite place instead.  

Throw in a trip to Bunnings and Ikea and its suffice to say that we filled what would have been a boring weekend stuck inside.

Sunday 14th Nov 10.30am

We set off nice an early Sunday morning to make the trek out to beautiful Gembrook. It was finally time for Lou to do the ultimate in Kids Fun Runs -  

The Kids Fun Run with Thomas! 

Louise has been counting down the days for this event and woke up jumping to get there. It was so cute to see all kids get excited about racing Thomas, the seriousness in some parents was a tad scary though.

Thomas was nice enough to let us all aboard for a bit of a ride then we all enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch with the family - very special day indeed.

Sunday 5pm 17th October

Wow what a weekend!! Between new couch and coffee table shopping, 2 (yep 2) three year old birthday parties, a 15yr high school reunion, and dinner at my brothers brand new home to test out the pizza oven - I'm certainly tired. 

Luckily it all ended with snuggles on the couch with some very special Aunties.

We celebrated Louise's 3rd birthday in the glorious Melbourne sunshine yesterday  - I'm shattered I didn't have a chance to take more photos.  

I'm pretty sure she had a wonderful time...

 

All she wanted for her party was a Dora Cake - so "we" compromised and I made her Dora's Castle House... yes I was up all night making that it was a lot easier than I thought it would be :P

Friday 3rd Sept 4.30pm

So the hubby pulled a sicky and we spent a full 24hrs away just the too of us. We drove all of 25mins to get to our destination but boy it was so much. Its been ages since I spent some decent time in the city with my favourite friend and was so great to just walk around and soak it all up. 
Our hotel was smack bang in the middle of town which was nice and handy as we wanted to fit as much as we could while we were child free.

I forgot how wonderful Melbourne's lanes and street art was.

We spent a little time shopping of course although got a little distracted by these teenages on a stage solving the Rubiks cube in under 20 seconds

(a little dorky but so fascinating at the same time)

On the way home we stopped for a quick game of Bowling .....

I kicked his butt :)
