Point + Shoot: 15

I had a few different photos for Point and Shoot this week, I wanted to show all the pretty things I got from our travels to the Robert Gordon outlet or where I spent my Saturday walking around town.
But ....
This is a special photo of Lou, you see about half an hour after this, the sun goes down and we are at the local supermarket doing the normal Sunday night stuff - I pop into the fruit and veg shop to get some fresh flowers, hubby runs outside to check why our dog is barking, both of us thinking the other has Louise.
Don't know what makes me look out the window  - but as I bolt out the door and swoop her off the busy road, it suddenly clicks how quick bad things can happen. It was nobody's fault, we were rushing because we had spent too much time having fun in the park, Lou didn't want to sit in her pram and the shops were chaos.

So here is a photo of what I love most about this weekend - my sweet, smiley girl in her new beanie and dress, running in the park.
Because right now I feel so lucky.

oh linda.. horrible, horrible feeling like the time when Zac fell and smashed his head (or so we thought, was his knee) on the side of the pool, Dave and I both rang to Zac and then turn around and Tom is half way across the pull by himself (luckily he had floaties on)!

hope you are feeling ok and yes it really does only take a split second for something horrid to happen!

to make you feel brighter your parcel is on its way! I hope Lou likes her pressie that i added!

LOVELY photo :) Your little girls is soooo Gorgeous & I do LOVE her outfit!!
Yikes, isn't it scary how quickly things can happen. It leaves you feeling sick from thinking of the 'what ifs'! Glad everything turned out ok though!
Have a great week.

She is so gorgeous!! I really love this photo.

It really is scary how quickly things can go bad. I still get shivers down my spine when I drive up to an intersection where me (pregnant with Zoe), my mum, sister and Josh were very nearly slammed into by a car running a red light. Something made me check the right hand side before I drove forward and I'm SO lucky I did as the result would not have been good.

Such a happy little girl.

But lucky your dog was around.
We've had that happen when Bella's dad was taking to long to get out of the car she ran to his side to tell him to get out thank god no cars where around but I got told off.

Before I read your post I was going to say it's the most beautiful picture, and it still is... perhaps even more so. x
