Point + Shoot : 19

Since having our darling daughter, our social life {as expected} has slowed dramatically. We loved having people over, our house was always full and both my husband and I really enjoyed entertaining.
Lou got to about 8 or 9mths and it just got too hard  - I'd put her to bed and she would be aware that we where having fun in the next room and refused to sleep.
The hubby is Soccer mad - he has been so excited about the world cup finally starting - so excited, that he cleaned out a garage filled it with chairs, heaters and put up a massive projector to watch as many games as he can.
Of course in the land of man - the bigger the TV - the more people pop over (kind of like in the land of kids and swimming pools) - its been so nice to see our old friends again. Saturday he put on a little BBQ in the freezing cold,  to prepare them to watch all 3 matches.
I, on the other hand, cant stand watching sport at the best of times but those trumpets are just killing me - so I decided to have my own shindig inside and indulge in a little swoon time of my own.

Saturday 19th June 11.15pm

I've never seen or read Twilight before and have been meaning to see what the all the fuss was about for ages. Who knew pale faced, cold blooded vampires could be so sexy :)  It did make me feel a little old but has tempted me to pick up a copy of the book.
Hope you had a lovely weekend!

Why not check out what everyone else has been doing over at Chantelle's Place!
(and don't forget to wish her a happy birthday)

Oh my goodness I love your P&S this week :) A night inside watching movies sounds blissful in this cold weather ;o) And I definitely recommend you read the Twilight books! When I watched the first movie I liked it but didn't understand the whole fuss & obsession....but after reading all 4 books I was sadly VERY obsessed lol. Have a lovely week x.

Good for you! We LOVED entertaining too prior to Bebito's arrival and are only just getting better at it now that he's a little older. Hard though cos a lot of our previous entertainees have kids too.

The books are amazing, and much better than the movies. I still love the movies though.

Ow you will enjoy the books :) I loved them! I think I read them all four in four weeks... Poor Rose and hubby, they had only easy pasta's for dinner those weeks.. haha...

Ok so I hope you understand that once you read the first few chapters of Twilight you will loose then next few weeks of your life as you rush to finish each book to find out what happens next.
I would never have thought of myself as a cougar but thankfully I can lust over Edward Cullen who is hundreds of years older than me rather than Rob P. who is quite a few years younger.
And it's not so bad to feel like a 16 year old every once in a while
